Open your favourite browser and navigate to http://www.winamp.com/media-player/all. Click on button "FREE DOWNLOAD".

 A popup windows will open asking to run or save that file. Click Save to save winamp installation file to your default download location.

After downloading this file, another window appear. Click Run to run installation of winamp.

Small window appear. Choose your preffered language or accept default - English. Click OK.

A Welcome to the Winamp installer page appears. Click Next.

License Agreement page opens. Read license terms and if you agree, click I Agree. You must accept the agreement to install Winamp.

Choose Install Location. In most cases default value is sufficient. Click Next.

Choose Winamp components to install. If you are unsure leave default values. Click Next.

Choose Start Options. If you want to create Start menu entry, Quick Launch icon or Desktop icon click on particular checkbox(leave it checked). Click Next.

Choose the additional features below to get most out of Winamp. If you want only to listen your mp3s using Winamp, uncheck all of these items. Click Next.

Choose if you want to Install TuneUp Utilities 2012. If you are unsure, choose I do not want to install TuneUp Utilities 2013. Click Next.

Wait until installation finish. This should take only few seconds.

Winamp is installed now. Choose if you want to Launch Winamp after the installer closes. In most cases you want to leave it checked. Click Finish.

Now we have to perform basic configuation of Winamp. Choose your preffered skin. If you are new user to Winamp, try New! Bento Skin, or you may also use classic skin. Click Next.

Configure what kind of files you want to open with Winamp. In most cases, default settings are ok. If you want to watch video files in Winamp, check Video Files. But if you already have a favourite video player, leave that checkbox unchecked. If you do not want to integrate Winamp into context menu in Windows Explorer, uncheck Show Winamp in Folder context menus in Windows Explorer. Click Next.

Choose what online Services you want to use. If unsure, leave default values. If you do not want to use online services, uncheck all options. Click Next.

Choose if you want to send anonymous usage statistics. If you want to, fill in provided form and check Yes, allow anonymous usage statistics(recommended). Click Finish.
