Egg and Bacon Pies

Butter for greasing tins 1 - 2 sheets puff pastry ¼ cup grated parmesan 2 tablespoons dill, roughly chopped 9 eggs 1/3 cup of cream Salt and pepper 6 thin rashes of bacon, rind removed

    Lightly grease a 6 hole large muffin tin. Cut the sheet of puff pastry into squares and fit into the greased muffin tin.

    Sprinkle parmesan and dill on the base of each pie

  • 3

    Crack one egg in each pie case

  • 4

    Whisk the remaining 3 eggs with cream. Season with salt and pepper and pour into the pie cases.

  • 5

    Wrap the bacon strips around your fingers and place carefully on top of each pie.

  • 6

    Bake in a preheated oven 180 degrees C for 30 minutes until golden and set.
